Dubai Restless Planet

Abu Dhabi, the capital of Emirates, known as the Arabian Jewel, situated about 170 kilometres south-west of Dubai, is the center of oil exploration and the seat of administration of the Country. On the way to Abu Dhabi you will pass by Jebel Ali Port, which is the biggest man-made port in the world.

On arrival the first destination is the Women's Handicraft Center. Admire the amazing dexterity and skill of local women making traditional handicrafts. This center was established to provide training and job opportunities for women in the region, as well as preserve and protect the local heritage.

After lunch and relaxation for a while we drive along the breakwaters.

You continue to the city through the well laid out roads, surrounding lush greenery, beautiful parks, and rows and rows of trees until you reach Abu Dhabi's oldest building, Al Husn Palace built in the 18th century.

Finally, we visit the Restless Planet. The park’s rides was be designed to portray the environment in which the dinosaurs lived during the Triassic and Jurassic periods. One of the rides will show a shallow sea with prehistoric fish, recreating the sea world that once covered the Gulf region, millions of years ago. There will be more than 100 animatronic dinosaurs, like the T-Rex, the Velociraptors and more gentle plant eaters like Triceratops and the gigantic Brontosaurus.
